Buggs Pollett
NORTHPORT – Buggs Pollett, age 55, of Northport, died September 26, 2017, at Northport Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Mountain Top Church (18037 Hwy 69 N. Northport, Ala.) with Bro. Jason Poole and Bro. Doug Odom officiating. Burial will follow in Pineywoods Cemetery with Magnolia Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the church.
He was preceded in death by his father; Wilbur Pollett; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Maddox and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Pollett; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Unruh Pollett of Northport; daughter, Ryan Smith (Daniel) of Northport; son, Darrel Pollett (Madison) of Northport; mother, Joyce Pollett of Northport; sister, Debbie Baker (Gary) of Northport; brother, Tony Pollett of Northport; and grandchildren, Lana and Lane Smith, Bryant, Abby and Kyler Pollett, all of Northport.
Pallbearers will be Gary Baker, Clay White, CW Booth and Larry Hamm.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Beasley Construction and employees, employees of Northport Medical Center ICU, Mark White, Phyllis McMillian and friends of Mountain Top Church and community.
