Charles R. Graham
NORTHPORT – Charles R. Graham, age 74, died February 8, 2017 at Northport Medical Center. Services will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lamar County with Bro. Ted Sessoms and Bro. Leon White officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at Magnolia Chapel North from 6-8 p.m. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include his wife, Rita G. Graham; son, David H. Graham (Sandy); brothers, Fred Graham (Ruby), Roy Banks Graham (Frances); grandchildren, Crystal Elmore (Bennett).
He worked for the State of Alabama for 27 years. His favorite hobby was fishing. He pastored at two churches and loved to read from the Bible. He loved sports, the beach and spending time with family and friends.
He was a wonderful husband of 52 years, father, and father-in-law. He never met a stranger. Quick with a smile and wit, he always left a memorable impression on everyone he met. He will be missed, but his light and testimony will forever endure.
Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Blake, Kevin Graham, Greg Graham, Darrell Wingo, Demas Hunnicutt.
